The propaganda machine is always running with the network news. The exception is when there is real news. Example Coverage of the hurricane. The mine accident etc.. The networks are generally good about this. Your filter needs to be on when political issues are raised. That's when you as a viewer/reader have to examine all media outlets and draw conclusions from there.

      Lets see,
CNN is headquartered in Atlanta Georgia a definate red state.
Fox News is headquartered in New York a definate Blue state.
I suspect the commie news network is headquartered in Georgia to provide re education style propaganda. As Fox is in New York to do the same.
      Just messin with ya.....

Guys, let's wind this down a bit........ I've had first hand experience with the media, let me give you something to think about.

The media as a whole is out for one thing. Profit. In order to make it profitable, they must sell ad space. In order to sell ad space, they must have an audience. In order to have an audience, they must air what creates attention. In order to hold attention, there must be controversy. Controversy keeps an audience entrenched in whatever media has their attention and as a result, ad spaces are sold. The particular media group accomplishes this according to the political agenda of those in charge at that particular moment. We all know it, yet we get drawn into the controversy according to the media's master plan.

Let's just agree that the media is not necessarily an unbiased projection of current events.

          That's good advise.

re-educate? You have to be educated before you can re-educate. Georgia ranks 49th in the union for school systems. But they have an answer to it. They are going to start teaching the bible in school. How is that going to help with math skills?

I disagree. It used to be that way. But now some reporters try and spin their report to an idealogy that they have. And they do it by not reporting all of the facts that do not support their opinion.

Then how do you disagree? It sure sounds like agreement to me.

In any case, without profit there is no company to run the radio or television network. Without profit, there are no reporters for the network to create their controversy. This isn't really a debate, this is reality. And yes, reporters have political agenda when they are given that freedom from thier executives. The point of my post was to not turn this thread into a "left wing" or "right wing" bashing of interests. Let's just realize what it is and move on to better things.
