Sold the Cadillac this week, so I'm heading across the state to pick up my new toy....... a 93 Z28 6 speed. A buddy of mine cut me a real good deal on this. His dad works at a dealer and this was a new car trade. Of course it needs the typical tlc, but that's right up my alley. Not to mention a warehouse full of parts that already fit.
Looks like I found a use for the 10 spoke chrome wheels, SLP intake, the Borla (once Fred sends me his mufflex) and a few other goodies too. The only bummer is no t-tops. oh well, it might make a handy drag car.

it hauls bananas though. This Z pulled pretty good, the highway cruising at such low rpms is cool. At 55 mph I almost had to shift back into 5th... it was taching about 1100 rpm.
With a good state of tune and freeflow exhaust, I'm hoping to get 27-28 mpg highway. That is just good enough to keep me happy and hopefully out of the honda on longer trips.
I must admit, I am better with the 94 and later models...... at least I'm familiar with the 93 LT-1 as that was in my 40th Anniversary Vette.
