Seems like everything is coming together very nicely... Other than the exhaust, are you planning on doing anything else performance wise? Or are you trying to keep this as stock as possible?

Actually, the car is bone stock. I was planning on fixing everything but keeping it stock. I *might* replace the catback and add a cold air intake, but that's still up in the air.

Oh, you know you wanna hear that hiss from the CAI and the rumble of the Loudmouth on that beast .

I've still got some spare parts off my 93 if you need them. Also, as a suggestion, you might wanna check the crankcase breather (located on the rear of the pass.-side valve cover). It has a hose that runs up to the pass.-side of the TB. If you're noticing some oil making its way up that hose, you might wanna upgrade it with the Deutsch BF412 breather. Its not intended for our cars, but it drops right in and does a better job of keeping the oil from creeping out than the stock unit does. Hope this helps

Hmmm... actually I need to replace that hose and the two other rubber elbow connections from the other vacuum lines on the side of the throttle body. The're toast.

I'll take some better photos later this week.

Funny thing is that a few times I almost bought one. I was talked out of it by a few friends due to their huge repair bills. I would have done the work myself, but I couldn't get over how much stuff was breaking down.

Yeah, its definitely been an uphill battle with mine, but its almost done . Just gotta do the springs, shocks, sway-bar bushing, alternator charge line, carpet, center armrest and carpeting lol

There are some deals out there. This wasn't quite as clean when I picked it up. I've put a few weekends of labor into this. I just knew what I was doing when I looked over the car prior to purchase. I think if I wasn't able to do the work myself, it would not have been cost effective. So far, nothing that I've done is beyond what a novice with a shop manual couldn't accomplish. That's the idea with the writeup in this thread..... to show what someone can have if they are willing to work on the car themselves.

I forgot to add $3.00 for a generic S shaped piece of vacuum tubing.......

running total: $2053....... my cash outlay: $653.
