Kev, did you go into your trans or are you going to just see how long it lives?
Kevin - I didn't see your question earlier. I have some work in the trans already. We did the clutch packs and got better bands, then shift kit and vacuum modulator. We also changed it over to non-modulating lockup and I upgraded some of the pump parts like booster valve and slide. - it also has a cooler, external filter and deep pan. When we did it 5 years ago, we didn't know of any better parts to replace the sunshell and spragues, so if something goes it might be that. There has never been anything in the pan, no sludge or particles and the fluid is always red, so I think it is still healthy. Knock on wood - it is now my weakest link.
