Based on the threads I've seen from you, you will never be happy with anything other than a Honda.... every thread is peppered with reference to them. Go back to a Honda and leave the high-powered American iron to people who really understand them, appreciate them, and know how to use them.

Damn, Joe Said it best. Like he said, I used to baby my honda, but I would have that thing 5k rpms every time I drove it and nothing ever broke. I learned now that with these cars, you cant do that. I baby my car's like crazy. I wash it 3 times a week. I check everything under the hood twice a week. I got my car with absolutely no mod's. Began to do the things the car needed (i.e. Rebuilding the rearend, bearing were shoot). Then when everything was perfect, started with exhaust and then some. Clutch went out, Replace. Its all things it needed. Your car is 12 years old, and your already talking about putting "NOS" on the thing b/c its "FUN." If that was ur intent then you were better off with a Honda or Nissan. It was a bad choice to get a car with that much Modifications. Im sure it was Ran, and ran Hard. That should explain why these things are going wrong with your car.

He's young, guys...we've all been through that stage. I remember I did some [edit] up things when I was his age with my car. I used to beat on it (not the Hell out of it, though), race it, everything an 18 year old would do with a 275hp sportscar (at the time ).

I look back now sometimes and think, "Wtf was I thinking?? STUPID!"

Now it's seatbelt on all the time, 5 above speedlimit max, easy on the shifts, never street race, baby it.

Yeah Taso is right. He's used to the world of Imports. Those are 2 different worlds. I mean He is young, dont get me wrong, Im younger than him, but I have a hell of a lot more background on this field. You were all young once, ha ha ha, no offence to the Vets. Either way he has other things to worry about now. Horrible situation.

I was exactly the same way. 125+ on the interstate, 120+ on a bridge, etc. Just stupid things. I sometimes look back at how lucky I was to survive. Now a days, it's 5-10 over the speed limit, max....going with the flow of traffic. Otherwise, I have no problem going the speed limit. Even though I've had a few Mustangs and other cars try to pester me, getting me to race....I just shook my head and let them accelerate away.

Thats kew. Weird but cool of them to change the plate. The clutch plate is the actual clutch. Not the Pressure plate or the Flywheel. So what did they end up doing? Did they end up rebuilding the entire tranny? Did they say what was wrong with it?

If your saying it shakes at low rpms. How low are u talking about? You have to remember that 6th gear is like OD (OverDrive). You have to be on the freeway to be using it (55+mph). If your driving in 6th on the street and have the RPM's at like 1200 and punch it then yes its going to Shake. My does the same. The car can not push that gear at such a low speed.
