    It has alum heads on both sides because all f-body LT1s came with aluminum heads. C4 LT1s had 4 bolt mains, which is the main difference between that and F-body LT1s. Only the Caprice/Impala LT1s came with cast iron heads.

        There are no "steel" heads.... only cast iron or aluminum.
