I said LT-5. That's what it is. The LT-5 is the motor built by Mercury Marine for the ZR-1 Vette Program. It is the 32 valve V8 with 385 HP starting in 90 and up to 405 HP in 95. The motor is not known as the ZR-1, That is the physical car.

I t says Zr-1 350 on the cover that bolts on top of the heads and cams and my enegine manual says Zr-1 350. No where on the vette did it say Zr-1, so what is my camaro says Ls-1 350 or my trans am ramair Z0-6. You cant win I will go get manual scan it in and post it just to show everyone you are STUPID.

Dude, you are not making any friends talking like that. The ZR1 motor *is* the LT5. LT5 is the RPO code GM used to identify the motor, it may not show up in your paperwork.

This is fact, and cannot be disputed.

Here is a picture of a LT5 motor. *ALL* ZR1s came with this engine.

Here is a close up of the camcover, it does not say ZR-1 350 on it anywhere.

And they *DO* say ZR1 on the exterior also.. Here is a close up of the emblem.

Hey Tommy here is a copy of my owners manual from 1997 WS6.

As you can plainly see it says V8-WS6.

Now we all know that the motor in a 1997 WS6 is an LT1 not a WS6. WS6 is the rpo code for the WS6 upgrade package.

The ZR-1 Corvette was powered by an LT-5 motor.

                    Looks like you lose.

BTW don't mess with my boys.

                    Stupid is as stupid does!

you have a Trans Am ramair ZO-6?? Wow.. I've never seen one of those.

ZO6 is a vette option... it has nothing to do with Firebirds.

At this point, nobody believe a single word you have typed. Are you 13 or 14 years old? Isnt it past your bedtime?

                      What is your deal?

                              Tommy....

Calling people stupid and causing trouble is a great way to get yourself owned and banned. There is more combined automotive knowledge from the members here that you better be on the up and up or someone's going to know. Another troll bites the dust. BTW... Tommy...... I owned a real ZR-1. I know exactly what they are.

And now, on with the show.
