drag racing - air bag question ......

    Your PM box is full again.

    The black seat goes on the bottom. The nipple on the air bag pokes through the center hole, and the hose runs out the bottom of the spring perch. Nothing goes on the top.

    I ran the hose up to the emergency brake cable housing, and attached it with a nylon tie, then left a loop and ran it through a hole in the inner fender, and up to the thin ledge between the spare tire and the hatch well. I drilled a hole there to mount the inflator valve.

    You can see the hose in this picture:



    Always keep at least 5psi in the bag. Run maybe 12-20psi at the track. Do not inflate to more than 30psi.

      Competition Engineering, a division of Moroso, has a rear spring setup called a trick spring. Not sure if they are available for the 4th gen f-body but I've heard they work awesome.

        Thanks guys! That freakin inbox seems to get smaller and smaller all the time! I deleted like 10 messages from there last time and now it seems to be holding only half as many Oh well!

        Anyways thanks for the pic Fred. Thats kinda was I was assuming......but I dont like to assume.

          When you go to the PM screen, it shows you the messages in the "In Box". By default, it only shows you the messages from the last few days. Click on "Show messages from beginning" to make sure you can see everything that is in the in box. You need to do the same with sent messages.

            Make sure you delete your sent messages and tracked messages also. Seems to help.
