i have herd that you can lower the tempture that the cooling fans cutin at as my cay runs at 220 when sat in traffic does this help in explaning what i ment
The other is to reprogram the computer. About 100 for a cable and another 200+ for software.
I don't know of a way to replace the sensor to fool the computer but since it just measures resistanace, I wonder if you could add a resistor inline to fool it. It might fool it to making it run hotter though. I'm not smart enough to know how it works.

You can also make a manual fan switch for ~$10 or less in parts.
Some relatively good instructions here, but the location of the connector in the pics may be a little different on a 1993. You can use wire taps to make the connections instead of soldering if you want.
Another diagram here. Using LEDs that have resistors built in makes it a little easier.

I found some 12 V LED's online that have built in resistors but it doesn't mention what the resistance it is, actually of them do. Does it matter?
