I have a 2001 LS1 T/A, automatic for everyday use, what would be the better gear for my ride? I do about 20 high way miles a day seven days a week! Thanks for all the input!

im in the market for the same thing and i contacted a couple shops and they recommended 3.73s,with a price tag around 700 parts and labor2006 GTO Impulse Blue Metallic, Blue Leather Interior

Hmm... if you were on the West Side of the state, I would have recommended Speed, Inc. in Schaumburg, Illinois... if you don't mind a five hour drive I still recommend them. I did a lot of looking around before I went to Chicago to get my work done... there was no specialized LS1 tuner in the Detroit area -- I was shocked. Livernois Speed is probably your best bet if you don't want to drive to Chicago, they do LS1s... but they are Mustang guys first.
There is a new LS1 tuner open in Clio (near Flint) now, but I am yet to hear a single good thing about them.Former Ride: 2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 - 345 rwhp, 360 rwtq... stock internally.
