I think Fred's is probably the fastest.

I haven't heard anyone else flirting with 10's.

Im hoping that my new engine combined with the 12 bolt diff, slicks, PCM reprogram, fuel pump, and 30lb injectors will put me deep in the 11's.

and .......Im thinking of bumping to a 200 shot....... But that will probably grenade my lower end.

Wait... we really don't have anyone in the 10s on this board right now?

                That's kinda sad...

My GN is in the tens, but my f-bodies are more daily drivers.

10's is pretty fast. Easy to say, but hard to actually do. Im sure there are guys out there that have street driven 10 second f-bods, but they are probably pretty few and far between. Look at all the work that Fred has in his.....with a 300 shot, im sure its deep in 10 second land now, but thats A LOT of time and money!

Joe, now those turbo buicks dont count - they are just freaks of nature!

A pretty shocking number of guys on that board are making crazy power, most still drive it on the street, and quite a few are in the 10s.

I'd say about 80% of the guys on that board would leave me like I was in reverse.

What kind of power does it generaly take to get in the 10's. I know wieght and conditions and all that mess but if we summed it up to hp figures? 500hp 600hp? Just courious. I like to dream every now and then

DOH! They are just so much fun though. There's just something about hissing your way throught he quarter that appeals to me! The turbo 3.8 swap I was going to do to the Z is most likely ending up in the 87 WS6. An all black version of the TTA pace car with enough oats to get me in the low 10s. The swap was going to be much more simple than the 94 so I'm taking a profit on the 94 and putting the effort into the 87 WS6.
