I myself am not a fan of war. I hate it. Two of my good friends are marines, and an even better friend is a Ranger who just came back from Iraq about 2 months ago or so. He's told me some of the things he had witnessed, and I could never imagine going through what those brave people are going through each and every day. I truly wish this world was civilized enough that we could discuss our problems in a civil manner and come to a mutual agreement. Unfortunately, most don't think like me. Was it civilized for Saddam to gas the Kurds for uprising against him. Ask any of the family members of those people if Saddam has WMD's, i guarantee their answer will be different from what Kerry and liberal media is stating. Bush isn't a perfect man, no one is, but he did something very gutsy. Anyone who takes a dramatic course of action before something happens will always have criticism, but what would have happened if he didn't take Saddam out of power. Lord only knows what that antichrist could have done in the future. We need to learn from our mistakes in the past. Look what happened when no one took care of Hitler and he got too much power, the holocaust. If the world and the U.S. would have taken action against him sooner, that might have been prevented, but FDR would have been blamed for rushing something, just like Bush is being blamed. Also, let's not forget where Bush was getting his information from.
~The CIA (although now proven to have had false information) stated that they were certain that Saddam had WMD's and needed to be dealt with. How come i don't hear as many liberals blaming George Tenet as much as Bush. But to tell you the truth, many liberals i know don't even know who George Tenet is when i ask them.
~Russia and KGB Intelligence stated that Saddam had WMD's and needed to be taken care of.
~British Intelligence (MI-6) stated the Saddam had WMD's and needed to be dealt with immediately.
~John Kerry himself stated that he felt Iraq was a country with WMD capabilities and needed to be stopped.
The list can go on. If you are a good president, how can you ignore this.
I'm not bashing anyone, everyone has the freedom of speech and opinion, a couple examples of what makes this country so great, but i often hear so many people (mostly people around my age and im 19) bashing and hating bush, but yet cannot give a legitimate example of why they hate him. I think more people should actually read up on their history and current events in thorough detail before they point a finger. If you are about to make a claim, please be able to back it up with 10 examples off the top of your head.
