What does the oil pressure run on an LS1 F-Body, at idle, and say 2,000rpm, fully warmed up. My Silverado with the iron block 4.8L is typically above 40psi at idle and slightly above 60psi at 2,000rpm (Mobil 1 10W-30, "standard" AC/Delco filter). Is this just something they do with the truck engines, or does the LS1 aluminum block 5.7L run at similar pressures?

but, the pressures can also be funky on the LS1's due to the revised oil path of the main galley from the traditional small blocks.The main bearings and the camshaft and camshaft bearing are oiled simultaneously as opposed to the cam bearings first then the mains.
