The LS7 is the new engine they are droppin in 2006 Z06's. Its a 427 small block puttin out 500 hp and 475 ft lbs. Biggest small block ever produced by GM. 12 degree heads and dry sump oil system are some of the nice highlights of this new platform. For more info check out Performin Norman's thread about the '06 Z06. Its worth it to check out just for the info on the new Z car anyways.

Well my fantasy would be to build an engine. Now i know you must be thinkin' "big deal" but it won't be your average engine, in fact it would be a completely new design. No pistons or valves or anything, and not like the rotary, though slightly similar. Now i have the thoughts of how it would work and a few drawings, but i can't tell you guys Need to keep the design facts a secret

I'm sure you all will puke over this cause it's a mopar, but I would like a COPY of a Plymouth Superbird. I actually wouldn't want a real one because I would feel guilty if I drove it.

But alas, mopar's are more than I am willing to pay for an old car so my project car is a '70 Torino GT convertible.

I guess it's a little late to be asking this, but I would assume most of you guys here are strictly GM people, eh?

My neighbor has a super bird. The most I know is his name is Mr. Casner lol. I honestly don't know his first name his wife was my 3rd grade teacher and all I've ever called him was Mr. Casner and thats all I'll probably ever know him as. He got his right before the doors were welded shut. Its an amazing car. I has reverse air scoops on the fenders he told me this was so that at very high speeds it would suck the air out from under the car. He's actually driven laps just minutes before the daytona 500 as a show and also to show off the car and said to me that at about 130 the rear wing makes the car squat down and hadle insanely.

I read that when they drove the car at high speeds the downforce was pushing the car down until the tires were scrubbing the underside of the fenders. They were in a hurry so they just mounted the backwards scoops on to give enough clearance so they wouldn't scrape anymore.

                    Wow.....this is extremely hard.
It would take me days to actually figure it out.
It would be a toss up...

I would like to fix up my dad's 68 chevelle ss. I would take out the 396 and put a b16. For the ppl that dont know engines, thats a 1.6 liter vtec. (I hope you know im kiddin, I would kill myself for doing that) I'd like a 69 camaro, all original with a 302 and one just like it with a fuel injected TT 572 runnin 18 lb of boost. I'd like an 02 black ws6 m6 for a daily driver because thats one of my dream cars. I think it would be funny to put an ls7 in a civic and taunt those ricers

                            Sacrilege

I know it is wrong but my dream build up would consist of a 427 AC Cobra, black with twin smoke gray racing stripes. Uhhhh, drool forming. For the bird I would try to find a way to incorporate a folding hard top like in the 3000GT spyders.

Jet black 1968 SS396 with a blower and a t56 built to handle all the power. i would want to redo the frame(well the front half anyways) and all the suspension so that it handles as good as possible to.
