2002 ZL1 Camaro on Auto Trader for $19,800

Why wouldn't he put what number zl1 it is and show even more the importance def thinking its a fake

Let's just pretend - or fantasize - for a minute that this is real.

If this is real, and being sold for that price, then the seller is completely unaware of what number it is, or its significance. That is the ONLY way this makes any possible sense.

I also emailed with no response. Not that I'm planning on buying it (would love to), I was just very curious. I'm way too skeptical anyway. Last year, there was an '87 GNX on AutoTrader in mint condition w/ 12K original miles. It was selling for $32,000. Needless to say, I was willing to drive the 3 1/2 hours to South Jersey in order to look at it and pick it up on the spot if it was for real.

Through an email, the seller told me it was actually a Regal T-Type made into a GNX clone, but the "mileage and condition are all real". I reported him to the AutoTrader site for fraud. It was taken down a day or two later. This is why I remain skeptical, and will end up missing out on that one perfect deal some day because of it.

She responded to my email. I've got the VIN and have verified with Berger Chevrolet that it is indeed a real ZL1. I'm setting up the escrow (www.escrow.com) today with the lady selling it and the car will be picked up early next week some time.. Can you believe this!! I even got her talked down to $18,500!!. Apparently her father died and she has no idea what a ZL1 camaro is. She thinks it is just a regular car! I hope you realize by now that this post is a complete joke. I could only dream that a car like this would be sold that cheap. In reality, nobody has responded to my email either.

nah.....something far worse. He should be forced to drive a Honda Civic with a fart can exhaust, complete with a bumper sticker that says "Naws rulz" for a period of not less than 1 year. only then will he suffer the to the extent of being remorseful.



btw, Tracy..... if you ever decide to sell that Z, keep me in mind. My Impala SS was that same color and is one of my favorites. I absolutely love that color on your Z.

Make an offer, everything has its price. I estimate there were only 16 Z28 convertibles with 6 speeds painted that color in 1994. You'll have a hard time finding another one!
