Holy crap! Well....if they do actually make it, and I get the job that I hope to get this year, then I will be saving up to buy one the second year they are out. I really like the exterior....it's a little boxy and can use some changes....but they have plenty of time to tweak it in the next 2-1/2 years. If they do that and fix the interior then I would love to trade in my V6 for it. The 'ole V6 ought to have about close to 100,000 miles on her by then.

It's a copied Charger, I'm very dissapointed with GM. The body lines are decent at best, and the front end and rear end leave little to be desired. Looks like a chopped, futuristic version of a Charger/Camaro retro mess.

Oh well, all we can do is hope they make some changes to it.

If they make it, I hope the exterior stays as close to the concept as possible. As I said earlier, there is a reason they took some styling queues from DC - unlike the majority of what GM has done in the past decade - IT WORKS!!!

It doesn't work for me, and I have a friend from highschool that works here at a local Dodge/Chrysler stealership, and he told me that the Charger sales were basically non-existant here in Texas. I haven't researched it, but I believe him because I have seen the exact same Chargers sitting in all the same places at various stealerships.

I'm sure with all the negative feedback GM will get over this prototype, they will be surely be commanding some serious re-thunk designing anyway.

I thought you meant Challenger, not Charger.

And Kevin, you and wolfman are in the minority on not liking this one, bro.

Hardly! I've seen about 20 different peoples reactions to this car, and it was all this -

GM WILL get not-so-nice emails about this concept design. And I pray to God that GM listens and changes it!

Internet forums are an accurate barometer to interpret public opinion!!!!!

                    NOT!

The reaction at NAIAS was overwhelmingly positive, and that's all that matter right now.

Besides, if you want to base this on internet forum results... even the hard-to-please audience of this forum rates 78% "It's OK" or better, and 58% responsing at least "Great, but change a few things..."

Only 15% of voters on this site don't like it.

According to your MSNBC link a while back, the vast majority of the voters thought that Bush should be impeached.

So what's your point? And I suspect that lots of people are being overly nice just because they realize it's a concept.

The 5th Gen Spaceship........<cough>.........Camaro needs some serious re-thinking.
