I cracked my tranny ,got a used one for 850 with a 3 month warranty,they replaced my rearmain seal,and gave me a clutch plate and flywheel for free????????thats why i was wondering how much the c-plate and flywheel cost ,i paid a total of 1200 dollars, hey con u seen that Afro sameria movie on spike TV im watching it write now its pretty dope, Oh he told me to take it easy for 500 miles cause the flywheel and C-plate are new?????????is that weird , later

Naw Man, 11pm and Im out. ha ha. Whats so weird that they told you to take it easy for 500 miles? Its called a break-in period. You always have to do that with clutches. What alot of morons do is get a Stage 2-3 clutch and figure its made for racing and abuse and start slamming it. Then 2 months later when the clutch starts chattering and all that they complain. I drove 800 miles on mine before Slamming it at all. $850 for a used tranny? Thats not to bad I guess. Thats what Im looking at then. Around $500-$800. I plan to do all he work myself except the Rebuild. I dont want another one. PLus I have hook-ups with just about anything. I need mine rebuilt b/c reverse is done, Can barely get it in. Other than that its still good.

I never replaced my Transmission. I changed the clutch but then later found out that the clutch was still good, but the Slave was no good. Ever since I got my car, my reverse was messed up. It has to be forced in, thats why Im going to have to have the tranny rebuilt. Anime, never cared for it. Have other hobbies.

Cars still shakes real bad from the rear end in 6th gear when given gas????? i have new plugs,wires, clutch and tranny? no shop can figure it out

How do u know its coming from the rear. Does it seem like its the rearend of something to do with he suspension?

it shakes from the rear end,another shop originaly thought that same shake was the tranny going out? what do u think about painted pacesetter longtube headers i came up on a pair, are these cheap headers are they even worth putting on whats the hp i should expect,I dont think its suspension because woulndt it shake from all gears not just in 6th when given gas.?????

most will shake when you go heavy throttle at lower speeds in 6th gear, You are out of the engine's powerband and it's not happy. Shift into 4th and it won't do that.

you may be right joe, i have done that, Ill shift to 5th and 4th and the cars doenst shake but this is at 60-70mph, are u guys able to accellerate to 6th gear,but why does it shake from the rear end?

Yeah I can accellerate Pretty good when Im in 6th going 70+ mph. Anything lower and it takes some time to push that big gear.

P.S. you dont pass the Visual when u get ur smog test done if your going to out some LT headers. Not here in California.

what, I dont understand what ur saying conelite,the headers wont pass smog?I know on my DC headers, i just got a sticker that said 50 states legal and i passed smog,are they good headers,Ive always had DC headers on my hondas
