DC Pays taxes to the State in order to have them be state legal. There is a difference. OBX headers are cheap for the LSx engines, do not relocate the Cats and yet they are not state legal. Long tube headers are not normally legal b/c they normally relocate the cats and that causes I it to fail. My brother has a 96 Z, so He had Shorty Headers and Random Tech Y-Pipe with high flow cats. It passed Smog b/c the Cats were in the stock location. He wanted to get Mid-length headers but he didnt b/c it would not pass.Originally posted by DHolmesEddie
