I saw that you are from there, but the way most people have written things, they just hate because they have the traditional winning syndrome . I have no beef with someone who grew up with a team hating the other team.

I grew up in Boston and now live in San Antonio, argueably LA's 2 biggest rivals....tell me again why I shouldn't hate them?

No you should hate them, but not as much, because the Celts have always been winners, until recently.

I dont hate the Celts or the Turds err Spurs, they are both great teams. Just not good enough to beat the Lakers............this year.

I am a fan of two teams- the Kings and whoever is playing the lakers. What the lakers are soo good at as you said Ryan 98 T/A, they can turn it on whenever they want to. But unfortunately they are now in a series with a team that has, arguably, the best defense in the league. So with that said, they cannot "turn it on". The Lakers will get behind like they usually do, and people will expect them to make their big run, but it will never come, Detroit will shut them down time and time again. Count on Big Ben in full "SWAT" team mode baby!

Two of the best things in the world have come out of Detroit- GM and the Pistons
2001 Camaro SS, ATI P1-SC Procharger 7 psi pulley (for now muah ha ha), MAC headers, MAC off road Y-Pipe, MAC "Cat Back", K&N, Richmond Racing 3.73's, Hypertech Power Programmer III custom programmed for Procharger, Subframe Connectors, Z06 rims (17x9.5, 18x10.5) BFG G-Force 315/30/18's. Panasonic In-Dash TV/CD/DVD player, 2 10" Audiobahn Subs in custom box, Audiofonics 800 watt amp. Dyno soon to come (and track times too)

              Lakers are going down!!

              Go Pistons!!

After the Pistons knock off the Lakers this year, the Spurs will dominate next year.

Hey Grubbs, follow the advice in your sig.

And time will tell for the Lakers and Pistons. I will never give up on the Lakers though. They will prevail.

Kobe can't make miracle shots for 7 games, trust me.

Even though the Pistons lost tonight, don't forget they already stole one from the lakers at home.

Now the lakers get to go to Piston territory! Not good for the lakers!

                  Not good at all.

I second that! I live only a few minutes from the Staples Center, so Im right at the heart of the Laker Territory. However, it really annoys me to see all those stupid little Laker flags on cars, and all the people selling Laker gear and what not. Its so boring and so old already. And common, Shaq?? He can do only two things, that stupid spin move, and dunk. Thats it! And the only reason he can pull that off is because of his size, not because he's an extraordinary player. I think he is by far the most over rated player in the NBA! I will however give credit to Kobe, he's a really good player and can shoot from anywhere and score under all kinds of situations. But I dislike his arrogance! I really think the Pistons should win, it would shut up a lot of big mouths over here who will swear that the Lakers are far superior and are indestructable. Moreover, they deserve it a lot more than the Lakers.

i am a laker fan , but never will i ever buy one of those stupid flags. ive been wacthing the lakers for a long time know and those little flags are only put on cars by people wgo just jumped on the bandwagon.

Theres no team who has won finals by winning 3 games in a row at home, and i doubt that it will happen this year.

I give alot of credit to the pistons though. they have the ability of beating the lakers with the right choices from the coach.last night they could of won if they just would have fouled shaq or Walten before the miracle shot, lakers where out of team fouls and that foul would have put shaq or walten on the line for 2 points and pistons would of won. oh well

Yeah, I think you're right. Maybe my conjecture towards the Lakers as being a disgustingly pompass organization has been swayed by the fact that my Alzheimers has in fact peaked severely. Maybe my once reverenced objective towards the Lakers being nothing more than a collective group of unfathomable, disrespectful people has been altered by my chronic ailment of Pistonitis.

The American public relates to, and appreciates professional athletes who have professional attitudes, appealing personalities, and don't run their mouths and disrspect other teams on a daily basis.

The nation-wide spread of Laker-dislike is inevadable and was unfortunately brought on by no other but themselves.

                                Pistons RULE!!

Game 1 the Pistons romped the Lakers, and 2 the Lakers barely won out of a wanna be Jordan three point shot (give credit where credits due) which should have never happend. PISTONS are taking the series. The next 3 games in Detroit -- please has anyone ever been to the Palace of Auburn Hills. You can't even hear yourself think. The pretty- boy Lakers won't know what to do with themselves. They all try to be a one man
star. True Fox is pretty ugly!
