what is more scary than the gas prices is the diesel prices Here in new England, all of our food, produce, meat, vegetables, fruits, and just about everything under the sun you can buy at a store is trucked in.

So besides a pain at the pump, it's now a pain at the grocery store, restaurants, bars, wal-mart, best buy, and just about everywhere a monetary transaction takes place! That milk you bought at $2.50/gallon is now $4.00+/gallon. It's these little things I'm noticing more and more.

That's it! I've had it! Now the prices at the liquor store are going up because of transportation cost because if diesel fuel going up. Time to draw the line! Oh I forgot, I rarely drink.

When I signed it, it had less than 100,000 signatures on it. Their goal was 100,000 about 2 weeks ago. I think they beat that by a few signatures. It's going up about 2000 per hour which is 50,000 per day.

I would love to convert a C5. Just replace the transmission with the electric motor and the LS1 with the batteries and controller. What a ride that would be.

$4.08 for regular at the Shell by my house in Central NJ
$3.87 is the lowest at a station called "Roadfunner". I don't buy from off-the-wall gas stations. Stuff is watered down.

2 gas stations in Buford Ga. are having a gas price war.

They dropped the price 4 times yesterday. It's $3.79 right now. The average around here is about $3.96

My Dad in Tulsa, OK said their gas prices are $3.69/gal ... cheapest in the entire country, and that still is painful.

Prices here haven't really moved since Memorial Day weekend. I expect a spike the weekend of the 4th though.
