I've seen high 9's in a 6 cilinder also like you said but not a 3.4 F-bod V6. When you say you have seen a 6 cylinder do 9's are you talking about a 3.4L f-body engine cause if so we would all like to see a site on this cause ive never talked to anyone who has seen a 6 cylinder f-body run even close to that.1994 Camaro Z28 Bolton's, stall, 275 nitto's - SOLD

94 Del Sol VTEC: 27 city/ 33 highway, knee deep in slowness

2006 Ford Fusion: 2.3, 5 speed, could run 15lbs of boost with a 150 shot and it'd still be slow

...
sigh.
if your gona work a v6, get a damn import.
firebirds and ta's have big hoods, for big engines.
sure, you can make a little engine go fast, but why not just get a big engine and make it even faster, for less money? it'd be stupid not to'83 Z28 Camaro. 350/325HP, 3:73's, comp.cam, hedman headers, 650 carter carb, 1 inch spacer, edelbrock performer, K&N, 3" flowmaster, t-tops, 18" Torq thrust-II's and a big bad 4" cowl.

Iam gonna get a another job here soon, construction.. i will start out 16/hour, and that will help pay for my night schooling.
I agree with yaw.. crap on the v6, I'll try and get my hands on a 350, but I want all the eletronics to hook up right, and I cant get my hands on an lt1 engine around here.. is crap a curse word.. I thought everyone here was adults.. its just a habit, hard to break.. words never hurt anyone.

Puting a 350 into a V6 car is cost prohibitive unless you have a complete running V8 donor car to get all the parts from.Originally posted by StolenBIRDIam gonna get a another job here soon, construction.. i will start out 16/hour, and that will help pay for my night schooling.

The swap requires so many parts that if you buy them individually the costs will kill you. It is not as easy as just changing the engine. This is the reason people recommend you just sell it and but one that already has the V8.Tracy

There aint
man, or I woulda got a v8 firebird, ... I had to choose from 2 of the cars i could find and afford, a 94 camaro v6 also, and a 94 firebird v6.. I wanted the camaro cause it was black and mtx, but I liked the firebirds look and stance better, plus I could get it sooner.
Ive looked all over monroe and west monroe, these are the only two I could find worth a damn.
I also would never put a v6 in my car to replace my already v6, lol. I do need to save on gas until i get a better job.. or get the hemi like the dodge magnum has in it, like it doesnt use cylinders were they are not needed and when you want to speed, they kick in.. neat stuff

Dude, go to autotrader.com
I just did and come up with over 4 pages of 93-97 f-bodies in Northern Louisiana, all under $5k.
Friends, I believe this boy is talking out of his arse. I now call Shenanigans on you.
And if anyone took offense to the redneck comment, I'm originally from North Caroliney so I'm allowed to say stuff like that
