Regardless if you are 100% for Obama (Which 98% here are not), or support him we all at this point have to come together and try and make this situation work to better the country, not start conflict and cause this country to seriously go down the crapper, And Im sure some of you yahoo's and going to say something stupid like, "Its going that way not matter what we do," or "With this Terrorist in office we are doomed!" Whats done is done, Whats really going to drive this country down NOW is Right wind wackos with mentality like this,

Honestly its sad to say but makes me almost dislike some members b/c of the BS they have said on these posts. These Threads Should be banned due to the endless fighting that goes on. There are about 5 members on here that are Democrats, So its not exactly an even playing field to start with.

Some good points in there.
These threads however help me understand how others feel. I don't know anyone from the south or out west and it helps me to know where others are coming from. Jeff and I could scream at each other in the face and obviously get nowhere...but it still helps and teaches me to respect an opinion....trying to not sound like I am eight here haha!

I see that you have an ATV. How do you feel about the relentless effort to close all the trails? It is because of "right wing wachos" like me who endlessly fight to keep what is left of these trails open. It is because of "right wing wachos" like me who go and clean up all the trash every week at the shooting areas and trails so that they are left open. It is because of "right wing wachos" like me that my children can still get on their ATVs and hit the trail. It is because of "right wing wachos" like me that my children learn gun safety and marksmanship. If being a Jeffersonian who believes in the founding principles of this country makes me a "right wing wacho", then I will wear the name with pride. I'm going in tomorrow to claim unemployment - we'll see how fast this process will be. The Government should only regulate the law of the land, protect the people and provide services in times of need...NOT tell us what to do. Yes, I lost my job today - but I'm not mad or even looking for a handout. I'm claiming unemployment to help as I deligently look for other means of work - no leech off the government.

Good luck moding your f-body or any car for that matter after we receive more restrictions to the Clean Air Act worse then the 1990 amendments. SEMA did a lot of work to get 50 state legal exemptions for parts under the "element of design" clause of the 1990 amendments. It is likely that the next wave of regulation will render our modified cars illegal. The general view of carbon emissions by the Democratic party will rage war on all muscle and performance cars not to mention completely changing what we have available for commuting. Personally, I am less worried about modifying my cars then the wwooood-buring stove I use to heat my home and the fuel I need to get to work not to mention my poor kids who ride motorcycles and ATVs...they don't understand when we go to our favorite trail and the new sign says closed to motor vehicles.
